Please consider giving to a Myeloma charity.

There is less funding for this compared to more well known cancers, so every donation can make a real difference.

What is myeloma?

Myeloma is a type of cancer affecting the plasma cells, found in bone marrow. These cells are responsible for the production of antibodies for the immune system.

Currently there is no cure for myeloma. In the US in 2005 over 15,000 new cases were diagnosed, in the same year there were over 10,000 deaths due to myeloma.

It is the second most common blood cancer but funding for research and support is still a lot lower than other better known cancers.
